Firefox 3 download blues
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been having a rough time getting through Mozilla web site to download the newly released Firefox 3 browser. It seems that, I’m not the only one going through Firefox download day blues though.
Erik Larkin from pcworld.com reported that according to Mozilla their servers are getting hit by 14,000 downloads per minute. [So at 7.8 MB the total bandwidth used would be 106.64 GB per min!].
Update: I was able to download Firefox 3 from downloads.com without any problems. At the time, their download counter said 13,955,885 downloads.
