March 29, 2008 by alikat.
The next-generation research tool that makes it easy to gather, organize, annotate, search, and cite materials you find online and off. Zotero is a Firefox browser extension.
Zotero’s features include: automatic capture of citation information from Web pages; storage of PDFs, files, images, links, and whole Web pages; flexible note taking with auto save; fast, as-you-type search through your materials; and playlist-like library organization, including saved searches (smart collections) and tags.
Zotero is a production of the Center for History and New Media at George Mason University.
